It's absolutely crazy to me that only a little over a year ago I had only had 70 some odd pageviews, and now I"m at 2500. That is insane!!! Thank you all so much!
So yesterday (the 25th) was my 26th birthday, and it was much better then my celebration the last Saturday was. My husband called in "sick" to work and we spent the day together. We slept in, we cuddled, we had some gourmet coffee and then we hit the town. We've started a new tradition. On each of our birthdays we're going to go to a record store and pick out whichever vinyl we want. I picked Surfer Rosa by the Pixies. It was a tough choice, there was a lot to choose from. NIN, Portishead, Okkervil River, Broken Social Scene, a live Velvet Underground album. It was agonizing but I couldn't pass up an opportunity to own Surfer Rosa on Vinyl! I already have Doolittle, it just didn't seem fair to leave that poor Pixies album alone in a record shop, I needed to bring it home to its sibling.
So today I started the journey towards going back to school. I sent out a bunch of emails to various art schools in my area to start to set up interviews and portfolio critiques. I'm still lost as to whether or not I want to go to school for event organizing, or photography, but being that I actually started the process towards art school, I think I can safely say that my heart is leaning towards photography, while my brain is leaning towards event organizing.
So much thinking to do!
